UniFi Network Installation and Support in Central PA

UNIFI NETWORK INSTALLATION AND SUPPORT IN CENTRAL PA

Ubiquiti UniFi is a line of gateways, switches, access points, cameras and door access managed from a single UniFi application. It delivers business features at a lower price than many enterprise brands, with no per-device license fees. Bluetek designs, installs and manages UniFi networks across Central PA.

What it does

UniFi devices are adopted into a controller, either a Cloud Gateway on site or a hosted controller, and configured from one dashboard. Wi-Fi, VLANs, firewall rules and cameras all live in one place.

Typical small-business use

Small offices, shops, restaurants, farms and warehouses use UniFi for strong Wi-Fi coverage, PoE switches for phones and cameras, guest networks and site-to-site links.

Problems we fix

We fix Wi-Fi that drops, slow roaming, devices that won’t adopt, VLAN mistakes and consumer-grade setups that were extended one access point at a time.

Licensing quirks

UniFi has no per-device licenses, which keeps costs down. The tradeoff is that you need someone to keep firmware, backups and the controller maintained. Some features, like certain cloud services, carry fees. We handle the upkeep.

Wi-Fi design

We plan access point placement for your building, including barns, warehouses and outdoor areas, and use point-to-point wireless bridges to reach outbuildings.

Cameras and access

UniFi Protect cameras and UniFi Access doors run on the same platform. We separate them on their own network.

Firmware and security

We test firmware before rolling it out, keep the controller backed up and lock down remote management with multifactor sign-in.

Cabling

We pull and certify Cat6 cabling, mount access points and label everything.

Taking over existing UniFi

If a past installer set it up, we gain access, document the design and fix weak spots.

Monitoring

We watch device health and get alerts when access points or switches go offline.

How it fits our stack

UniFi gives budget-conscious clients a solid network, and we pair it with DNSFilter, Huntress and managed backups.

Right gear for the job

UniFi has consumer and business lines that look similar. We spec business gateways, managed PoE switches and the right indoor or outdoor access points, so you don’t outgrow the network in a year.

Multi-site with UniFi

Shops with two or three locations can link sites with UniFi’s site-to-site VPN and manage them all from one dashboard. We set it up and document how each site connects.

WAREHOUSES AND SHOPS

Metal racking and high ceilings eat Wi-Fi. We pick outdoor-rated and long-range access points and test coverage with the scanners and tablets you actually use.
