Pax8 is a cloud marketplace that managed service providers use to buy and manage software subscriptions for their clients, including Microsoft 365, Azure, security tools and backup. Bluetek uses Pax8 to provide Central PA clients with licenses on one clear bill, sized to what you actually use.

What it is

Instead of buying Microsoft 365 and other cloud subscriptions directly with a credit card, you get them through Bluetek, purchased in Pax8. We can add, remove and change licenses for you, see them in one place and combine them on one invoice.

Typical small-business use

Most clients get Microsoft 365, Exchange Online or Entra add-ons, email security, backup and other tools through us. When someone joins, we add a license the same day. When someone leaves, we remove it at the right time.

Problems we fix

We clean up messy licensing: people with licenses they don’t need, departed staff still being billed, mismatched plans and subscriptions on several credit cards nobody remembers. Moving everything to one managed account usually saves money.

Licensing quirks

Microsoft’s New Commerce Experience changed the rules. Annual commitments are cheaper but can only be reduced at renewal, while monthly terms cost more but can be cancelled. Cancellations have a short window after purchase. We balance annual and monthly licenses so you get savings without paying for seats you can’t drop.

Moving your licenses

Moving from direct billing or another provider takes planning to avoid gaps. We time the transfer around renewal dates and confirm nothing loses access.

Right-sizing

We review licensing quarterly and recommend changes, like a lower plan for staff who only need email or a higher plan where security features are needed.
