Cove Data Protection, from N-able, is a cloud-first backup service for servers, workstations and Microsoft 365. Backups go straight to Cove’s cloud without a local appliance, and you can restore files, full systems or spin up a standby server. Bluetek manages Cove backups for Central PA businesses.
What it does
Cove uses deduplication and compression to send only changed data, so nightly backups are small and fast even over modest internet. Data is encrypted before it leaves your network and kept in Cove’s data centers with retention you choose.
Typical small-business use
Clients use Cove to back up file servers, line-of-business application servers, key workstations and Microsoft 365 mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. It suits offices that don’t want to buy and maintain a backup appliance.
Recovery options
We can restore one file, a folder, a mailbox or a whole server. Cove’s standby image feature keeps a ready-to-boot copy of critical servers, either local or in Azure, so we can get you running fast after a hardware failure or ransomware.
